Junior Achievement of South Central PA Spotlight

JA BizTown
JA BizTown is an interactive educational program designed for students to experience the workings of a community and the economy. Through hands-on activities, students assume various roles in a simulated town, managing businesses and learning about financial literacy, teamwork, and civic responsibility. The program aims to inspire 5th-6th grade students to understand the principles of entrepreneurship and develop essential life skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Fundamentals
Volunteer-led programs in grades Pre-k through 5. Five sessions where students engage in hands-on activities. Available to all schools in our 14 county region.

JA Inspire - Career Resource
JA Inspire is a career resource for students in grades 7-12. Students virtually visit local and national company booths to learn about careers. This career resource is available to all schools within our region.

A Global Tasting - April 26, 2025
Mark your calendars! “A Global Tasting” Food, Wine, Craft Beer and Silent Auction will be held at Junior Achievement-610 South George Street, York on April 26, 2025, from 7-10 PM. This is JA’s premier fundraiser, and our goal is to raise over $100,000 to support JA’s mission of empowering students with the financial, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills they need to embark on a successful future.
